Living Landscapes: Protect, Produce, Restore
The forests of Borneo are among the most biologically diverse habitats on Earth. However, like many other tropical areas around the world, rainforests are being cut down and abused for its natural resources, endangering the existence of valuable species.
At the Global Climate Action Summit last September, Unilever committed to supporting work in Sabah with WWF Malaysia, as part of the strategy to achieve a deforestation-free supply chain. Unilever will help support green growth development strategies, sustainably certify 60,000 hectares of palm oil plantations, restore priority landscapes in Sabah, Malaysia as part of a programme led by Forever Sabah, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia and PONGO Alliance.
Join Rauf Prasodjo, Sustainable Sourcing Manager at Unilever and Dr. Glyn Davies, Senior Advisor at WWF Malaysia and the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology as they share more on how Unilever and WWF Malaysia work together to end deforestation and restore forest landscapes.
