Microsoft Tech Hackfest: IoT and Data OpenHack

iot-36.png

OpenHack brings together groups of diverse developers to learn how to implement a given scenario on Azure through three days of immersive, structured, hands-on, challenge-based hacking.

Join us for three days of fun-filled, hands-on hacking where you will team up with Microsoft software development engineers, and community peers to learn how to implement Azure IoT and high scale data workloads in the cloud.

During OpenHack you will:

  • Choose your desired tooling and technology based on Azure IoT and data & analytics services.

  • Hack on challenges structured to leave you with the skills and expertise needed to deploy an end-to-end IoT solution – including device registration, data ingestion, data processing, and analytics.

  • Network with fellow community members and other professional developers from startups to large enterprises, as well as Microsoft developers.

  • Get answers to your technology and workplace project questions from Microsoft and community experts.

In addition to the challenge-based learning paths, we will collaborate one on one with you in a one-hour IoT solution architect design and solution envisioning slot, with a goal to work elbow to elbow in a hackfest engagement on your IoT business solution projects soon after the events.

To be successful and maximize value from the hack, come with a basic understanding of coding and development, and be willing to learn and roll up your sleeves and participate in a team environment.

Registration is by invite only and spaces are limited. You may be put on a waitlist. To help us finalise and approve your registration, please complete the questions provided.
