Kiana Maggiolo, Chief Strategy Officer of BlueMeg
Having lived in 4 continents and worked as a corporate lawyer for 7 years in developing markets, Kiana identified major legal issues aggravated by technology gaps. Thus, she decided to pursue a business degree to pivot her career into a more business focused path.
During her studies, she became interested in technology and its applications and was convinced that law, business, and technology should be cleverly combined to solve many of today’s global problems.
Kiana’s legal background and business skills, together with her knowledge of different markets and previous work with global teams, led her to explore Singapore as an exciting place to do business in 2017, where she became a member of BlueMeg’s founding team.
Sofie Janssens, Business Development Manager of BlueMeg
Sofie worked as an attorney-at-law in the Brussels’ office of an international law firm and has over four years of experience. During her work, she experienced first-hand how clients were often suffering from cumbersome corporate governance obligations.
When the opportunity arose to be part of the FinTech startup scene in Singapore, she did not have to think twice!
