An agriculture entrepreneur (Agriprenuership) - a collection of sustainable communities and directly-marketed agriculture. Sustainable agriculture refers to a holistic, systems-oriented approach to farming that focuses on the interrelationships of social, economic and environmental processes.
Only a miniscule 3% of the US$19.8 billion venture funding of agripreneurs in 2019 was deployed to women-founded enterprises.Though this presents an upward trend from the US$2.1 million in 2017, significant opportunity for agripreneurs in Southeast Asia amongst women are still notably underrepresented.
LEVEL3 and WOMAG are partnering to host a series of virtual events centering around increasing awareness about challenges and opportunities for women agripreneurs. This collaboration aims to address the issue: "Where are the Women: Exploring Agripreneurship in Southeast Asia".

WOMAG’s Weekly Coffee Breaks: “Where are the Women” | 5, 12, 19, 26 Aug
Join WOMAG’s regularly scheduled coffee breaks (a weekly virtual event since April) to meet other food and agri-professionals and hear from industry experts. This month, the coffee breaks (Wednesdays from 9:30-10am SGT) are on the women agripreneurship theme. Hear from corporate leaders on how they collaborate with women-led startups, and from women founders on their own entrepreneurship journeys.
